Job Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in English.

  • Provide individual and small group interventions to support the academic work within the classroom setting.

  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

  • Must be able to collaborate with teachers.

  • Must have the desire and ability to help improve and increase student learning.

  • A desire to uphold the mission and vision of DIA and maintain an attitude of positivity.

Willingness to learn and teach curriculum established at school. Highly qualified candidates will have either two years of college (48 semester hours) or be able to pass the state paraprofessional exam for qualification.
Candidates with experience in teaching, and classroom management are preferred, but training in specific job requirements will be provided.

Priority given to applicant's with educational experience or background. Perspective substitutes will need to pass the required background check. Applicants must be approved for work in the US.

All applicants must have a high school diploma or some college experience.
