Why do I teach at DIA: I have dedicated my life to the art of teaching art. To have the opportunity to experience and share the beauty of imagination, exploration and invention with my DIA students has been incredible! We do it in “Español”! What can be better!!?

Why I teach at DIA: I have been teaching P.E. at the elementary/middle school level for the past 4 years, 3 of which were in California. I received my teaching credential in California in 2012 from California State University, Fullerton. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree from BYU-Hawaii in 2002. I've taught English as a second in Irvine, CA; the country of Georgia; and in Mexico. I am teaching at DIA because I believe that physical activity is an important life skill and that all students should have the opportunity to find enjoyment in it; through participating in many different sports, games, and activities.

Why I teach at DIA: Every day, DIA is helping young individuals to find their potential in the classroom, plan for future success in higher education, and become leaders that impact the community. It is a diverse cultural learning community with a mission that I truly have enjoyed being a part of.
