Sabemos que todos los estudiantes de DIA tienen muchos talentos, e invitamos a los que tengan interés ​​a audicionar para el Talent Show que va a suceder el 4 de junio.

¡Los estudiantes pueden optar a cantar, bailar, actuar, contar chistes, leer historias, tocar instrumentos, o cualquier cosa!

Announcing the 1st Annual DIA

Talent Show

 

We know ALL of DIA’s students are talented, so we invite interested students to try out for the Talent Show on June 4th.

 

 

 

Students may choose to sing, dance, act, tell jokes, read stories, play instruments, or whatever they want!

 

 

 

In-school Performances:

 

   Tuesday, June 4th 

 

         •  Kinder – 4th Grades: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

 

         •   5th – 8th Grades 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

 

Note: Parents are welcome to attend the in-school performance if they are unable to attend the evening performance.

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Thank you for selecting Dual Immersion Academy (DIA). Kindergarten is a major step in your student’s education, because it sets the foundation for their future.

Our faculty and staff are prepared to play a key roll in your student’s educational life now through 8^th grade. Therefore, we are pleased to invite you to a brief orientation for you to meet our teachers, tour the school, and let your little one meet the teacher and other students.

This important meeting will introduce you to how our kindergarten program ties in with our overall dual immersion program, which has been designed to ensure that all students receive a bilingual “real world” education.

We are counting on your attendance and will provide refreshments for you and your child.

Queridos padres y tutores:

Gracias por escoger Dual Immersion Academy (DIA). Kindergarten es un paso importante en la educación de su hijo/a, porque va a establecer la fundación para su futuro.

Nuestros profesores y personal están preparados para jugar un papel clave en la vida educativa de su hijo/a, desde hoy hasta el octavo grado. Por lo tanto, tenemos el placer de invitarle a una breve orientación con el objetivo de que puedan conocer a nuestros profesores, visitar  la escuela, y dejar  que su estudiante conozca a los profesores y a los otros estudiantes.

En esta reunión importante les daremos a conocer como nuestro programa de kindergarten se adapta al programa de inmersión dual, el cual está diseñado para asegurar que todos los estudiantes reciban una educación bilingüe para el "mundo real."

Contamos con su asistencia y proveeremos refrigerios para usted y su hijo/a.

On Friday, May 31st, Dual Immersion Academy (DIA) will hold its 6th annual Walk-a-thon! DIA’s Walk-a-thon will be held at the school during school hours so that all students can participate. One of the purposes of the Walk-a-thon is to raise money for our basketball/volleyball scoreboard. Each student will receive a sponsor sheet to keep track of the funds they raise. Students who collect $25.00 or more in sponsorships will get their names printed on the DIA Walk-a-thon T-shirt and will be able to wear it for the entire day instead of the usual uniform. Students may also choose to wear the T-shirt throughout the upcoming year. Other students, of course, are required to be in full school uniform. 

Also, Businesses can get their logo printed on the Walk-a-thon T-shirts for a sponsorship of $100.00.

• Mark each of your student's state tests on your calendar

Dual Immersion Academy parents and guardians have the right to request and receive information from the school regarding the qualifications of their student's teacher(s).
